Some Frequently Asked Questions:
How to Use Pixingo
What are Pixingo Points?
When a customer orders a product at Pixingo.com, that customer must do so using Pixingo Points. These points are purchased at Pixingo.com prior to ordering product, for use within the Pixingo studio.
Using Pixingo Points, a customer can create any of the Pixingo products and have them mailed or shipped to the desired destination. Points come in increments equivalent to the dollar amount purchased; one U.S. dollar equals one Pixingo Point.
When Points are purchased, they are stored in a customer’s account for up to 12 months. If a customer buys 20 points on January 1, 2012, and uses 16 points on January 18, they have 4 remaining points to use by January 1, 2013.
Points are used in the order purchased. If that same customer who has 4 points left purchases 20 additional points in February 2012, then places an order that requires 10 points, the order will use the 4 oldest points first, then 6 more from the newer Points purchase to complete the order.
Do I need an expense fund?
You'll want to have one because some things, we just can't use points for, like postage stamps, shipping and handling, and gift cards. So Pixingo created expense funds that you can keep for when you need to mail a card or a photo book to someone.
How do I get more Pixingo Points or expense funds?
Visit pixingo.com, and put some in your shopping cart. Just a few clicks, and your points and funds are where you want them.
How do I change the orientation of my card once I have already started the design?
Just navigate back to the gallery to start a new card, and don't save the card you're on. When you start your template, the second option lets you select size and orientation.
How do I upload my contacts?
You can add one at a time or follow a few simple steps to add multiple contacts to an existing group or create a new one:
Export your contacts from Word, gmail, outlook, or whatever program you have them in, into an Excel document, and save it as a CSV (comma separated value) file.
Once in CSV format, create the following separate fields: First Name, Last Name, Address 1, Address 2(if applicable), City, State, and Zip.
Click over to your Pixingo dashboard, navigate to your address book, and select Import Addresses.
Select Browse to find the saved CSV file, and click Add Now.
Map the fields by using the dropdown menus at the top (First Name matched with First Name, Last Name with Last Name).
You may want to check the box to Ignore First Row in CSV File so you don't accidentally create a contact named First Name, Last Name.
What will my printed card look like?
Uh, awesome. The print quality is great because we use the finest printers in the industry, with the highest-quality inks, on heavy cardstock. So if you start with a high-quality photo, you'll end with a final product that meets your expectations.
How can I be sure?
Oh, quit worrying! We guarantee it'll be great as long as you start with a great photo. Generally speaking, an image with a larger file size will print much more clearly than one with a smaller file size. We do place a 6MB upload limit on photos, but our experience shows that anything equal to or above 1MB prints beautifully.
If you're using a smaller photo, give it an appropriate size when you design your photo card. If you have any questions about how a particular photo may print, contact support before submitting the order so we can discuss options beforehand.
Can I crop my pictures how I want them?
Of course. That's the whole point of Pixingo being personal. Just be smart about it. If the quality of your photo is questionable, reduce its overall size on the card. Cropping and stretching a low-quality photo may result in a grainy image on the final printed product.
Just for Consultants
When's my Pixingo Consultant kit coming?
Don't worry; you don't have to be all that patient. It can get there pretty fast. Consultant kits are shipped daily, and yours will ship by the next business day via FedEx ground delivery. You'll get it in five to seven business days.
How do I change my contact information?
Easy. Click the Edit Profile link on the dashboard of your back office, and go from there.
I just signed up, and I'm ready to use my Pixingo Points.
That's not a question, but we're glad you brought it up. You might want to go in to your Pixingo dashboard and add a little to your expense fund. There's $.88 in there to start, which is enough to mail two cards. So, look at how many things you're going to mail a day, and get that fund where you want it.
When do I get paid my commissions from Pixingo?
How does every week sound? That's how often Go Pro bonuses are processed, and the checks on those go out two weeks after the weekly commission period ends. The weekly commission period begins on Monday and ends on Sunday at 11:59 PM. All other bonuses are paid monthly and mailed between the 10th and 17th.
Am I getting a check this week?
If you produced more than $10, you are. Your earned commission amount must reach that point before a check is generated. Anything under $10 will carry over to the next bonus period. Don't worry, you are getting paid for your efforts, we just "bank" it for you and add it to your next check.
How do I enroll a new Consultant?
Woo-hoo! Somebody's goin' Pro. OK, so you have two options. One is to send them to your replicated website and have them click the Go Pro tab. The other is to log in to your Pixingo dashboard, click on the Enroll New Consultant button, and follow the prompts.
What's my user name?
Your user name is your ID number that you got when you joined Pixingo. Your password was also set when you enrolled for the first time.
I forgot my password.
Also not a question, but here's the answer you're probably looking for. You can just change your password by logging in to your Pixingo dashboard. Click the Edit Profile button. From there, you can make any changes you want to your profile.
What is my replicated website?
It's what makes you look cool (and it builds your business). All you do is enter your personal information, add your picture, and the Pixingo site becomes your site. Then, when people visit your site, they see all the official Pixingo stuff. They can order Pixingo Points from there, become a Consultant, or do anything they want, and it's all linked to you.
